Jeremy Garber is the founder of GarBBQ, the fastest-growing pit barbecue chain in America, the author of four cookbooks and the memoir Kid Brother, and a keynote speaker on overcoming family trauma. A 26-time marathoner and founder of The Boukzam Foundation, he lives in Cooper City, Florida.

Jeremy Garber taught himself to cook in a garage in Cooper City, Florida, under a plywood sign that said Jeremy's Garage BBQ. In 2023 he opened the first GarBBQ with a single offset smoker and a rescue dog named Boukzam; today there are ten across eight states, every one opened by Jeremy personally. He graduated culinary school with honors in 2025 while running the first restaurant. He is the author of four cookbooks and the memoir Kid Brother: A Chef and His Little Big Bro, a keynote speaker on family trauma, a 26-time marathoner who runs every race for charity, founder of the Cigarbers cigar line and The Boukzam Foundation, and the father of Fabian.

Jeremy Garber. GAR-ber, like the baby food, a comparison he has made peace with. Never "Jerry." His brother called him Jerry.
